Hi, I’m Serena. When you arrive you’ll find me in the reception area, behind my desk. I’m in charge of administration and deal with enrolments, payments, accommodation and other services.

I’m Serafina. My job is to organize and coordinate the courses, assess the levels of the students and divide them into classes. Sometimes I’ll also be your teacher. Along with Serena I will be happy to deal with any questions or requests you might have.

I’m Laura and I’m very pleased to meet you! I teach Italian at Arca and I also deal with marketing and promoting the school: I look after the contacts with clients, advertising, special packages, in other words everything concerning the commercial side of the courses.

Hi, I’m Mauro and I’ve been teaching at Arca for several years. I prepare the Italian business courses and the courses for the CELI exams. I’m very fond of cooking and theater, and with me you’ll be able to learn more about aspects of Italian culture such as food & wine, current affairs and journalism.

Hi, my name’s Giulia and I’ve been teaching at this school for many years. Among other things I also prepare Courses of Art and Courses of Literature, particularly regarding the poet Dante Alighieri. Together we will discover the charms of the city and also spend enjoyable moments together sampling the pleasures of Bolognese life. I look forward to seeing you!!!

I’m Giovanni, pleased to meet you! I’ve been a teacher at Arca for many years. I’m especially interested in cinema and together we can watch some great Italian movies from yesterday and today to discover the work of some of our best film directors and actors.

Hi, my name’s Andrea and I’m really happy to make your acquaintance. I teach Italian at ARCA and I’m an expert in preparing students for University courses, Masters and PhDs. I’m also a lawyer and a writer, and I will help you discover the beauty and traditions of our marvellous country, with all its different uses and customs. Together we will learn about Italy and enjoy a unique, fascinating and above all unforgettable experience. Hi, my name’s Massimo and I’m a new teacher at Arca. I’m also a music journalist, and I plan the courses in music history and melodramma. I’m looking forward to meet you at our school, and also do some activities together!

Hi, I'm Ludovico, I've been teaching at ARCA for several years and during my lessons I love taking my students on a trip through space and time! My main topics of interest are current affairs and contemporary history, whereas music is my greatest passion and for some months every year it's also my profession, as I play the sax on cruise ships. I'm very keen to help you make friends with the Italian language and the city of Bologna.
